Travelling by train in Finland is very comfortable. If you book early, prices are very reasonable and there are discounts for students, pensioners and group travellers. Seat reservations are always included in the price and there is an excellent on-board restaurant. All information is also available in English on the Finnish Railways website.

Those wishing to travel by plane can fly via Helsinki to Joensuu or Kuopio. 

The registration fee includes accommodation for carvers at the Tulikivi-Club. If participants choose alternative accommodation, they must cover the costs themselves.
