Boet voitti arvostetun National Arts Merit Awards (NAMA) -palkinnon veistoskategoriassa vuosina 2012 ja 2010. Palkinnon myöntää Zimbabwen kansallinen taideneuvosto, ja sitä pidetään Zimbabwen omana Oscar-gaalana.
Boet syntyi vuonna 1977 Zimbabwessa. Opiskellessaan toisella asteella hän muutti asumaan isoisänsä luo, ja juuri silloin hän tapasi edesmenneen kuvanveistäjän Tinashe Makazan ja alkoi työskennellä tämän kanssa. Kiviveistoksesta tuli osa hänen identiteettiään, eikä tämä intohimo ole koskaan jättänyt häntä. Hänellä on nykyään yli kymmenen vuoden kokemus kuvanveistosta.
Boet toimi taiteilijaresidenssissä arvostetussa Chapungu Sculpture Parkissa Hararessa vuosina 1997–2004. Hänen töitään esiteltiin myös DED Guest House / Saksan suurlähetystön työpajoissa, joissa hänelle myönnettiin työkaluja ja välineitä. Hänen teoksiaan on esillä gallerioissa ympäri maailmaa, muun muassa Yhdysvalloissa, Alankomaissa ja Etelä-Koreassa.

Boet was the winner of the sculpture category of the prestigious National Arts Merit Awards (NAMA) in 2012 and 2010, which are awarded by Zimbabwe’s National Arts Council and are like the Oscars for Zimbabwe.
Boet was born in 1977 in Zimbabwe. When Boet was at secondary school, he went to live with his grandfather and it was then that he met (the late) sculptor Tinashe Makaza and began sculpting with him. Stone sculpture became a part of him and this passion has never left him. He now has over a decade of sculpting experience.
Boet was an Artist in Residence at the prestigious Chapungu Sculpture Park in Harare from 1997 to 2004. His work was shown at the DED Guest House/German Embassy workshops, at which he was awarded with tools and equipment. His work is also shown by galleries across the world, including USA, Netherlands and South Korea.
